he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.
he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

A relative was molested by her stepfather for 7 years! Five to twelve.. When her mother found out, she went to the elders who told her not to speak of it since there was only one witness. She divorced his ass. He started dating a DF'd woman with two little girls. My sister took a chance and warned her about him. The woman refused to believe her and accused her of being jealous. So she married the pig and he proceeded to molest the two daughters. He was DF'd, arrested and is now old, demented in a home and dying. Couldn't wish it on a bigger prick. Only one member of that family is still active but they are POMI.

Slidin Fast; sorry you had bad luck with the DNA. I have met many who have contacted unknown relatives. My own niece found her birth father and his family. Over 20 aunts and uncles! My father's own father was a mystery. At 89 he found out he was the firstborn of the only father he knew and loved. But his birth certificate said different. DNA confirmed that when he changed his name to the one on his birth certificate he actually gave up his true birth name. He died with the knowledge the mystery of his birth father was finally cleared up. Thank god for Ancestry DNA.
